Race Length
Heats – 40/45 laps plus finishing time (15 secs). You may join the race providing a transponder has been fitted & the car is placed on turn 2 (Oval Chat Corner)
A Final (Club Event) – 60 laps
Championship Final – 80/100 laps
Consolation race - 40/45 laps

Race Start
All cars must line up 2 abreast in grade order, white (front row) then yellow, blue, red and star grades. Once the computer starts to countdown,
cars must not move, jump-start or be interfered with in any way.
Any car without the correct roof grade will start at the back of the grid.
Drivers must not use their car to attack other cars before racing commences.
Only 3 verbal warnings will be given to offending driver(s)
pending further penalties from the disciplinary panel (DP TEAM), and will be displayed on the race control board.

Marshalling
No cars are to be marshalled under normal racing, but may be marshalled for the following reasons:
Any car loosing its bodyshell must be removed from the track and not returned
Any car in risk of burning out during the race must be unplugged and remain on the track.
Failing to leave the car on the track will result in zero points awarded.

Racing
Racing is in a clockwise direction.
Any car that is out of control is down to the driver’s responsibility; unless another competitor’s controller is found to be the cause then they will receive the penalty.
Driving in the opposite direction is not allowed on the home/start line (lap counter straight).
Head -on contact is only permitted on the bend where you are waiting or back straight (not start line).
Any car that goes over the outer wall cannot be returned to the race. Roof shots are not allowed!

Any car that comes to rest in a corner, or the centre can only continue if unaided. Interfering with cars during a race will see the offending driver or associate having their points removed from that race.
Anyone who deliberately drives across the start line the wrong way will also have their laps taken away and result in a verbal warning.

Radio Equipment
It is the responsibility of all drivers to ensure that their radio equipment does not cause interference with other competitors
External power sources for transmitters are not permitted.
Only government approved 27 MHz & 40 MHz crystals can be used.
You must provide 3 - 27 MHz or 3 - 40 MHz crystals when booking in
at our meetings. Transmitters must not be taken onto the track or near the lap counting equipment at any time.
This includes Mobile Phones. Unauthorised use of a transmitter will result in disqualification and loaded up from the meeting, pending
further penalties. Crystal changes can only be made if approved by the Race Control.

Scrutineering
All cars must conform to the Construction Rules and may be checked at any time during the race meeting. Any car not conforming will lose any points gained & will not be allowed to race until rectified and can face further penalties.

Entered Car
Only one car may be entered per driver, no car swapping or using other drivers cars allowed
Only one bodyshell can be entered per meeting, you may only use a different bodyshell in the destruction derby as long as it conforms to
the bodyshell rules.

Protests & Penalties
Protests of any kind may be made to the Race Control
The race control & DP Team may correct any discrepancies/unfair warnings.

Warnings
During the evenings racing, any offence(s) committed by drivers will receive verbal warnings & any warnings given will be displayed on the race control board.
A maximum of 3 warnings will be given, and then the offending driver(s) will be loaded up.
3 warnings during the heats will result in a load up until the destruction derby. If the third offence is committed during the consolation finals or the main A final, then the driver will be loaded up for the rest of the meeting and will score zero points for that race, pending further penalties from the disciplinary panel (DP TEAM).
The disciplinary panel will look into each case & further action maybe taken against constant offenders breaking any club, racing or construction rules which could lead to meeting ban(s).
All drivers have the right to appeal any action taken against them.
Unnecessary shouting at drivers/officials, threatening & bad behaviour/ language could result in a load up for the rest of the meeting, pending
further action from the DP team.
The Clubs Disciplinary Panel Team has the final say in any action taken.
Please adhere to all rules, everyone wants a good enjoyable nights racing & crashing.

                                                THANKYOU
